CoreRehab Eliminates the Stigma of Pelvic Floor Conditions

CoreRehab is a women’s health program designed by a Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist to help women prepare for and restore their bodies post-childbirth and prevent common chronic conditions. The program helps all women whether they are newly pregnant, 6 weeks postpartum, or 60 years postpartum.  The mission of this program is to help women overcome the physical challenges of pregnancy and childbirth and erase the stigma surrounding pelvic floor conditions and allow women to rehabilitate with dignity.

CoreRehab was born from a personal experience and mission.  The founder, Shari, is a mom of 2 who sustained a diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction following her 2 childbirths.  In Shari’s attempt to get better, she was met with subpar healthcare and statements such as “It’s normal you need to accept it.”  Her answer was HELL NO!  In the journey to cure herself, she came up with the CoreRehab program.  The program is a fusion of pelvic floor therapy, postpartum corrective exercises, Pilates, and physiotherapy.
